There are a number of vendors offering a wide range of water sports, from wet bikes to banana boats! There are many national parks just a short drive away as well as the famous Palau waterfall. Getting Around There are many local taxis and the famous Tuk Tuks available, however they are mainly based in the town centre.  For short journeys they are inexpensive, but if you wish to see the local attractions and golf courses we would recommend that you rent a car. Be careful of renting a car from the locals, the car is unlikely to have been maintained to the standard that you expect or to have full insurance. If you were to be involved in an accident you may be required to pay a substantial sum to the other party to be released from the police station, even if you believe it is not your fault.
